Wales Air Ambulance Charitable Trust is intending to apply for a full planning application for a new air ambulance base including a building compromising helicopter hangar, staff rest and training spaces, officers and other ancillary floorspace. And 2no. helipads, a final approach and take off area with security perimeter fencing, new access from B5429, parking, landscaping, attenuation and other ancillary works.

Following in-depth, independent expert analysis, Wales has an opportunity to significantly improve its air ambulance service – allowing it to reach more patients and save more lives. These improvements would be especially beneficial for communities in North and Mid Wales.
